The early career of Jennie Moncur encompassed an unusually wide range of commissions in media other than tapestry - laser cut linoleum flooring at the ICA, London and 22 painted railway bridges in and around Gateshead - are not normally associated with tapestry weaving.

Having been trained in textiles, she has now come full circle to concentrate on her woven tapestry work once again.
