Wall hung rugs commissioned for the main dining hall by Jardine Insurance Brokers (1998) for their new London headquarters.
The entire commission (which comprised thirty pieces of work) was inspired by the history of the company and it's early years trading in the far east in tea, cotton etc. Looking at this cargo focused the sourcing of imagery to plant forms and their characterisation within oriental textiles.
The wall hung rugs were hung to the metal wall via magnets.
